One word: PRIDE. They also care what others think of them and that price is a marker on their self worth, its part of their self esteem....or maybe all of it.
Almost none of them are good business women so they will go home broke instead of log three 60 dollar jobs, pride outweighs the economics. And the ones that do make alot of money blow it all on the slots...the DR loves them for them dumping their money right back into the slot machines, and if they dont blow it on slots their tico boyfriend steals it or blows it on drugs and booze. 1-5% owns a house yet they make double the average wage in CR.
1g average sounds about right, but there is such a wide gap in talent that averages it down to that (about 40% of them have no business being there and dont log any business, and 10% are downright used up and repulsive, however the top 5% stunners have got to be making 2-5K. If they are making it to work 6 days a week
