As always Circus,my good friend, some of the funniest shit I've read in a while. Some further questions and comments.

1st Some of the banks around town are offering large discounts at restaurants if you acquire their credit cards. I suggest that they may be interested in associating with C.I. How about using the credit card as a "get out of jail free card" so someone can ESCAPE C.I. by showing his card.

2nd Will C.I. be offering tours from their "lobby" desk? I might suggest some that would be appropriate. A tour of the local dump. A tour of some of the finer barrios late at night showing the scavengers picking through the days excrements. (always a favorite along with a snack) A tour of 10th avenue around 3am along with interviews with its inhabitants. (if you can find one who is awake, alive and coherant) As part of SJs clean needles program, your quests may wish to share a needle with the puncturers on 10th ave. (no extra charge) How about a special tour of the highly accomplished beggars and sales personel who congregate near the Hotel DR. For a small "fee" you could have them share some of their family secrets on how to get the unsuspecting Gringos to fall for their shit.

Damn Mynkps4:

Have you bothered to look at the photos......the pic clearly states "NO CHICA FEE." Geezzz, I'm getting worried about some of our new folks.

YO VB: Definitely some interesting suggestions. We have not worked out a tour desk due to limited personnel available.....unfortunately, our clients may only be able to afford the suite, if that. 10th Avenue is certainly not in our plans....too risky. Tour of the various street hawks around the inner gulch would be fun indeed if we ever advance that far. As for the drug scene....you and others know that I'm anti-hard drugs bigtime and absolutely hate anything a shared needle does to someone.....and I'm not going to give them a clean one in order to inject horrid things into them. Not an option!!!

As stated previously, this is a concept in the works and your response will play a large part in our marketing and research.

Circus, CEO of CCI.

What exchange rate will you be offering for dollars to colones? Will it be the going rate that the banks are offering,or the dreaded Del Rey rip-off rate?

YO Inquiries:

CCI will not be exchanging currency due to limited staff and security reasons. Most of our patrons are relieved of their dinero prior to checking in.....and if not, prior to checkout.

Currently we do not have a website due to cost and refusal of domain names. When we apply for one all we get back are snickers and smilely faces.....and of course the proverbial "Yea, right !!!"

Dos, tres, cuatros chicas: Due to a diminished market in CR for grand pianos, sub zero freezers and other mucho grande packaged goods, we have had difficulty in finding master suites. We do offer multiple box furnishings that we can install side by side. We attempted to furnish sizzors, box cutters and duct tape for that spirited fun loving home remodeling hombre. Unfortunately, in our test rentals we encountered chica theft and mad chica use of the tools as weapons......predominately Colombianas.

We might suggest that you take the suite that we proudly call the "Pot Luck Suite." Our motto: "You never know just who or how many you will wake up with." Catchy.....isn't it.

YO: I can see we have a bunch of demanding and strange mongers out there.

NYG: CCI does not have anything to upgrade you for your Harem.....you slut.

Gringobill: It's up to you to provide two hot bodied chicas in order to break a sweat. Shit, what do we have to do.....stick it in for you......damn, there are some demanding gringos out there.

Holden: I just hope that you don't drink sterno. Our suites do not allow combustible liquids in our suites.......we draw the line at 151 proof Ronrico Rum.

CRdreamin: Damn, here is a ghost from the past before I became a member of the original CRS. Not a bad idea with the Nurse and Gut Bucket Guy but we cannot afford stage entertainment at the rates we will be advertising. As for the toe tag, PLEASE, certainly not the way we encourage guest to be checked out.

Damn, this starting up a new business in lodgings is getting to be pain in the ass. CCI offers a quaint affordable product and then that gringo greed chimes in.

Our staff was working on providing a roaming BBBJ service by "Greta" the goat. Also for a nominal charge but........I need to research this more. There are concerns with Greta's safety regarding this group.

“Don Papi

Thank you for referring me to Circus Cardboard Inns, International. I am writing this review to you of my experience recently because I have tried unsuccessfully to reach the CEO, Circus…seems like he is always traveling, or something, and has no fixed address.

Overall my experience was very good, but there were some troubling elements. After seeing the photos on costaricaticas I tried to FAX or email my registration, but was informed they were not equipped to handle that. The reservation dept. accepted my call and said the Park Suite in San Jose I requested would be available the dates I requested because they deny reservation requests from eco-tourists and various tour groups that stay a day here and a day there and send them all to the Presidente. The clerk sounded hot, spoke English and Spanish, and said she was available 24 hrs. She actually said something like TLN, and I assume that means the office is open 24 hrs.

The suite was what I expected and, believe me, nothing more. There were many features that you just can’t find generally…it was one level, airy, firm but flexible, adjustable, and free of construction noise. The mini bar was stocked, but only with vodka miniatures, some of which were empty. A nice feature was that there is no limit on the number of real paper napkins you can take. Room service was sometimes available and seemed to consist of food from any restaurant in the area delivered on foot by staff in different uniforms…strange. They provided a safe under the ground and removed from the suite. And what can I say about the unisex bathroom facilities? Well, spacious,

Overall, I highly recommend Cardboard Inns. The photographs really do not do them justice. I understand there are double suites available, but I didn’t see any in the park during my stay. Actually I didn’t see any other suites…so don’t forget to add privacy to the many advantages of CCI.

Please pass on my Thanks to Circus if you see or hear from him. And I recommend Heidi, the hard working reservations clerk.”

YO Honored Hombre Clients:

CCI would like to take this opportunity to thank the amigo of senor Papi for his sincere letter of satisfaction praising our suites. We do apoligize for the lack of communication equipment, i.e. fax, email, etc. Our cell phones are on loan at this time and only have a limited duration of minutes. Low overhead.....that't the key.

It is with regret that I must inform senor Papi that we consider our mini bars full prior to occupancy and that the lodger is responsible for cost replacement of all items. We do have in our records that the half of banana along with one mint were missing and he will not be charged for those......courtesy of CCI.

As for our reservationist, the lovely Heidi, she did not show up at work for two days after this lodger resided in the suite. We can only concur additional services were rendered and thereby an adjusted charge will be placed on this lodger's credit card. Of course at a nominal fee.

Please thank this gentleman again for staying at CCI. The resting place that we sincerely hope will not be your last.

CEO of CCI, Circus
