Why D, you are thinking of bringing one up north too ? :lol: :lol:

I am very sure about the visa. You can also contact your local CIC office for info, or check here for yourself.

Hey Orange...... What's up.

There is still another option, I believe Mexicana has a flight to Montreal non-stop from Mexico City and your friend will not have make any US airport connexion. Air Canada has a flight from SJO to Vancouver with connexions to Montreal.....
