I have been the novio........ about 4 years ago I was in CR on one of my many trips..... Back then I visited a chicky at Las Margaritas we became really close to the point I didn't p4p anymore not a dime not even gifts.

I was supposed to depart on the next day when my back totally went out (pinched nerve), I coudn't even move, After a week I ran out of money. I was staying with family so that was no biggie but I still had to hook them up here and there with money (food) and I tell you what this chick took care of me she gave me money, we would go out she would pay for everything (taxis, food, drinks, medicine, etc.)............ I was there for 3 weeks like a cripple and broke.

I guesse I turned the table for a couple of weeks. She could of just dissapeared but she didn't................. I'm sure there may have a been Gringos where that money originated.......... I never saw her again, we lost touch, I didn't fly for about 7 months after that.

Don't take me wrong with the posts I clown around with. Most guys here know I am pretty goofy but we share a lot in common also. Your post does not surprise me at all. I have had wonderful things like this happen too me also. Some of the best most generous & kind people I know on this planet Earth are Ticos. The really good natives are wonderful people. In the gulch this is knd of hit & miss. YMMV
