Some people just may want to learn Spanish correctly, not only for responding to chicas emails.

I installed the USInternational keyboard but when I try to type the Spanish vowels it does nothing.
Can anybody help??
You need to install the Spanish (Costa Rica) keyboard too. When you do you'll see either an "EN" or an "ES" on the lower right part of your taskbar (next to your system tray). Just click on it and select the keyboard type you want to switch back and forth between them.

I didn't install the Costa Rican (or any other Spanish) keyboard. It's not really needed. It's actually better to only have the US international keyboard and delete the default one.

The only one I have is English (United States) -United States - International

After you install it, delete the default keyboard. (You may need to restart the computer too.) This way you will only have 1 and won't have to switch each time you want to type in Spanish. You can use the international keyboard to write English like you normally do with the added benefit of the Spanish accented wovels.

OK, throwing something out there. Wouldn’t it be easier to fire up Microsoft Word? I will assume everyone already have it installed and do “Tools- Languages-Set Language”. Since you are saying that you want to learn how to write a better Spanish note, then it comes to question how to you type the beginning corresponding characters for questions and exclamation points, ex: ¿¡.

If you use Word, it will insert the characters automatically as well as help you avoid some of the Spanish grammatical errors.

How about just getting some type of translation software. There's a ton of them out there. This way, you can type in English, and cut-n-paste it into the translation program. It will automatically put in the accents, upside down question marks, etc. Just a thought...

Thanks for all of your helpful ideas .I have finally got it set up the way that I want it. It is nice to be able to use all of the correct characters that you find on the international keyboard.
