When I first registered, I did so under my real name. Then I suddenly realized that was REALLY stupid. So I quicly emailed Admin1 with a request to change my handle. As someone else previously mentioned, you have only seconds to come up with something. So I did.

It is not particularly inventive. As a native of rural, I mean deep in the desert rural California, I always loved watching Disney’s television series Zorro because rural California was greatly influenced by Mexican culture and Zorro was a real hero for us.

The unmasked Zorro was Don Diego. Diego is also conveniently the Spanish translation of my first name. The "C" is the first letter of the Spanish translation of my last name.

so instead of using my name in English, my handle is a modified Spanish version. But I have never been known by my first name, only my middle name.

This has been a very good thread. I liked reading it.

Big Daddy – one of my good friends was a guy named Ed “Big Daddy” Roth. He was a great and very talented man. I had thought maybe you used his moniker. May he rest in peace.
