My brother was a road manager for rock bands in the 80's and 90's. "Lance Manion" was the name used by one of the guys when checking into a hotel. I use it whenever posting online or on gambling sites. If I ask kindly enough, the chicas call me big boss man also.

mine's a variation of many nicknames given to me because I so often wear black. In fact, having just come back from peru a few weeks ago, I talk to one of the chicas I met down there and she says that the other girls from the club ask her where the "chico en negro" went. I didn't prompt her to call me that. People have always just done it naturally. Now it's kind of a trademark (with a nod to johnny cash)

This is my second handle on this board. The old K_by_Me handle was one I used for anonymity, but it was too stupid a handle to continue with once I knew that I was going to stay and had met many of you fine gentlemen.
