So yesterday I briefly notice a person walking out of Sportsman's Lodge wearing a GoPro camera strapped to his chest with a harness. In what appears to be a POV type shot of whatever he was going to do. Other people mentioned that, in what most certainly would be the same person based on descriptions, walk into a MP with the camera still strapped to his body. People were in the waiting area as well as chicas.

What is you opinion on something like this? You bothered by it? You not care? Or would you likely do it yourself also?

I will momentarily vote no in the poll. Why should someone walk into a place like SL or even a MP while video taping?

Maybe a follow up question is needed of should the venues allow the guest to enter with the camera?

I believe a public street or park is fair game to all but inside a bar, hotel, store, etc it is now infringing on my personal rights.

Outside on the streets, or in the parks... no problem. But wearing a GoPro inside any one of the places we like to hang out??? ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE!

The said person was with me part of the time yesterday. I was assured the camera was off. When he entered one MP with it he almost was not allowed out (he did not enter this MP with me-I was already inside and had been sessioning there). I told him again He should not wear it into MPs. Hell some of the MPs now scan guys (Gringos and Ticos) and one of the things they will not allow is a camera of any kind--they seem to ignore phone camers I guess since everyone has one. Hell, I am not very savy to all these new hi-tech things and I did not even know what it was till I asked!!

And by the way, to answer the poll: pictures of any kind without permission is NOT RIGHT and should not be done. I have preached that on this board for years!!!

i have actually seen footage on another site from a guy named chris long. none of it is actually in the mp's and bars but you see people on the street in front of the places. when walking up the street from scores he showed jeff from hlh coming back w groceries and jeff turns toward the building to not be filmed apparently.
sounds like this guy wasn't trying to hide it at least. maybe its the same guy who posts elsewhere. but if he really didn't want it seen i'm not sure how you can stop it.

GoPro dope is an obvious new guy who some chica or guy is going to GoPro on his ass sooner or later if he keeps that up in the wrong setting.

Never was it even on that day what so ever until we left ALL mps. I just finished a session at 360 I went to meet bangbang there and just ask him which one he sessioned with for future reference.
