My barber is the best for me. He is fast and cheap. 1200 colones. you should tip at least 300 - 1000. I have been going there for 5 years
He is located on Calle 2. Which is the street at the west end of Parque Central. From the park head south on Calle 2. to Ave 8. Ave 8 is the new street they just paved with real cement. Cross Ave 8. The shop is the second store from the corner on the Right going south. My barber is in the back on the right. The guy in the back, on the left,is great too. The owner is up front and collects the cash. These guys are not going to screw you. Ignore the mess. This is Costa Rica. If you like chess. They do too.
The owner of the shop has been there since 1944, at 14 he begain working there for his dad. He speaks good english and also owns the resterant next door. there ar at least 10 mps within 2 blocks that makes the trip worth while.
They will not make change fo 20,000 or 50,000 bills.

Why would you tip him 83.33 percent?

Dildoman........ A 300 col tip on a 1200 bill isn't an 83.3 % tip in the school I went to. It's more like 25%. Of all people on this board,Seahawk is one of the least likely to tip 83.3%. Thanks for the input.

The unedited post did indeed indicate a 83% propina. 1200 colones haircut and 1000 colones tip.

perhaps in the school you went to the teacher did not change the question after you submitted your answer.

So whats the deal? Do we tip 300 or 1000? Seahawk is a sharp looking cat, so this is good information.

I used to go to the topless place years ago , I never got my hair cut but the place was all right , then someone burnt it down ,I not even knew if there was a name , it was a hard place to find at first after being there they gave you beers , just tip them nice place to get a little trim , or BBBJ , there was a back room but I had all my sevices done in the waiting room wow that was a while ago

Rob, that place was referred to as Peluqueria Bikini . Ladies were older and not that good looking, but their haircuts were decent.

They were operating about the same time that Arte y Sauna was still around.

After it burned down they relocated to Avenida 8 and calle 18. They closed down for good about 6 years ago.

You really are getting paranoid no one jumped on your post. The guy simply wanted to know if you really tipped 1000 colones for a 1200 colon haircut. Instead of responding I made a mistake I tip 300 not a 1000 you edited the post which made the guy who asked the question look, to at least one person, like he was somewhat deficient in mathematical skills.

If your comments were aimed at me....... My intention certainly was NOT to turn your post into shit. You know me better than that.
