Maybe this does not deserve another distinct post - but if you're sick and tired of hearing about the orphanage donations, then I'm glad you didn't even open this thread in the first place, and I'm glad that you are not a big enough ass to flame me for posting this.

If you did read this thread, and you are still not opposed to the effort, then please read on.

Please don't respond that you don't want to hear more; it would be redundant and non-productive. We are not going to give up on this effort.

Come on, you guys. We have $700 in the first week. We have a chance to make a real impact here. Multiple members of CRT have shown willingness to give of their time and resources.

In a sincere appeal to all members, please do give just a little.....10 bucks maybe....anything you give will make a big difference.

Don't be selfish and sex-crazed. Open your phucking wallet just a little. Show some support.

We have 13,000+ members. Think about the established fraternal organizations...Knights of Colombus, Shriners, Rotary Club.....all these folks have an emphasis on helping the K*ds.

We should take Santa's Bro's efforts and use same as a springboard to solicit support.

Those of us who support this effort are not going away.

Maybe instead of dropping a $20 tip on an MP chica, you can split that with this effort.

Look inside yourselves, and please find within youself the kindness to give.

We all talk about the chicas getting hardcore, about the government officials wanting to squash mongering in CR. Let's show these folks that we stand for what is right.

Even if you don't give a Phuck about the K*ds in CR, at least understand the practical result of establishing an effort to show those in CR that we give a Phuck about those in CR who don't have anything to look forward to.

Maybe you can do without your double mocha mint chocolate dazzle cream whipped delight at Tim Horton's for a week and set aside that $25 to help these K*ds who have so few people willing to help as well. A lot of kind people in CR are willing to DEDICATE THEIR LIVES to help these K*ds.

I, myself, don't see a better way to give back to a people who have given us so much pleasure in return.

And beyond all this sappy stuff.....have you ever asked a chica about her K*ds? I have, and I get a favorable response every time. A good example is Cathy at ZB. She told me she has a N*no back in Nicaragua...myself, I can't stand being away from my K*ds for very long....when she told me this, I made a long face and showed support for her....I think she was nearly on the verge of tears....but then responded with an outpouring of what seemed to be a sincere deliverence of of passionate kisses.

Most of these chicas dearly love their K*ds.....and they would be so happy to see that we identify with their plight.

If you don't do it for the K*ds, at least do it for the mileage. If these girls know that many of us understand their love for the Ch*ldren, this will translate to extreme mileage and awesome GFE's, IMHO.

Consider this - next time you are in ZB and get hit up for a $20 propina, tell the chica you are going to give her $5 and the orphanage $15. Let's make this more public. It can't help but come back to us in spades. Better yet, hit ZB, have a drink, and then skip a session and give your $50 to those who really will use it well. Invite your favorita to come with you to SL to make the donation, then buy her dinner. She'll remember you forever.

I feel strongly about this, and I hope others do too.

Thank you Santa's Bro for getting this ball rolling. I, for one, expect to stay on this horse for a long time. I've told myself that if I can't give $100 for every trip I take to CR, then I have no business going in the first place. I'm not that selfish, and I hope the rest of you are not either.

In the end, if you are a selfish mother Phucker (yes about 90% of these chicas are mothers and we Phuck them  ), then you need to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself what business you have even waking up every day. If you can't give $100, give ten bucks! - PLEASE..! Just show some support.

We have five members who agreed to give of their time and several others who give money from their hearts.

With 13,000 members, there is no reason why we can't raise $1000/month on a consistent basis.

OK, I'm done with my rant. Flame away if you want, but to me and at least a few others, this is an important matter deserving your consideration.

Well said Crookedcr, but I am curious what the girls' reactions would be to your suggestion above.

I don't have enough deductions to file long form. My house was paid for several years ago.

I have decided to give (on a yearly basis) 1K a year to the JDF (diabetes) and 500 to both Shriners Burns Institute and Shriners Crippled Ch**drens hospital. I get nothing in return for my gifts, except self gratification that many were helped. I make under 90K a year, so I am not a RICH man.

I appreciate what you are doing, but feel that your 'begging' is a little over the top. I feel that it would be better served if you wouldn't have gone on and on and on. Nobody wants to feel obligated by either guilt or peer pressure to give. Money should be given freely.

No flame, just an opinion.

We all can appreciate that many will choose what causes to support. Not one of us can give to every worthy effort..... and far be it from me to try to pin anybody down to one cause over the other.

Kudos to you for helping others.

I regret that my persistance was viewed as begging.

I'll toss ten bucks in the kitty to get Santa's Bro a session with a chica at ZB....so we just need four other guys to match that and then two more to cover the tip!

Very well put, I gave and hope to see some constructive work done there in the near future. I will also pick some stuff up next time I am in town for the little ones. Hey I don't make a lot of bones either but this seems like a good cause.

i think part of the problem is that everyone knows anyone can set up a paypal account and take money.
i was directly involved in trying to stop a criminal during the tsunami disaster and he was being televised on CNN and FOX!
so you are dealing with suspicious people who have seen a lot bad things done in the name of good. look at the red cross. how the hell do they get all the free advertising and use only percentages of the donations for the actual causes the money is intended?
in no way do i insinuate that you are doing this, but i think it may still be a case of establishing credibility.
the pics are great orange, and i have met several of you personally and will be hanging with santasbro in LA this weekend. i know you are all good people with the best intentions.
do not despair. it takes time to convince people you stand for the right thing and do not have your own enrichment in mind.
i think this is one of the single greatest ideas i have witnessed in my short gulch experience. lets do it right and it will catch on.
this is an idea in its infancy. but i get your frustration.

I guess I have missed something. I thought when you were in town you could give at the SL.

If something else has been set up that you can do from up here. Please explain.

Thanks

I tried to get this set up for the ease and convenience of all, when in country. It is important to me that all of the money that is so generously donated by you men is given to the Ch*ldren. At this point, I cannot absolutely say that about leaving money at the SL. If it is donated to the the PayPal (97.3%) account, or sent to me directly (100%), you can be assured that all (minus the 2.7% PayPal charge) of the money will be given to the Ch*ldren at the orphanage.

This is the hardest part for me personally in this endeavor, is to have you men think that I would steal your hard earned money. When I think about the CRT brotherhood thinking I'm a scam artist/thief, it does not sit well with me at all, and makes me want to withdraw. At this point, I don't see that serving the Ch*ldren of CR the best.

As for credibility, I know that I do not have it being a newbie, with only four trips to date. That is the reason for the other four CRT members, that I believe have built many years of credibility with CRT membership, and have agreed to over see the disbursement of the funds. If it would help the Ch*ldren, I would be willing to put a CRT member, with more credibility in my place. I would not have a say in the disbursement, but would still work for the good of the Ch*ldren. If that will help the Ch*ldren, I am all for it. This is not about me, gaining personal glory, scamming money from you, or anything else, other than my desire give something back to the Ch*ldren of CR, and make their day a little brighter.

For any of you out there who are wondering, I don't want, or need your money for me personally. I'm doing very well in life without scamming or thieving people, for that I am very grateful. I don't do it in my personal life, I don't do it at work, and I can assure you that I am not using the Ch*ldren of CR to do it.

I'm sorry if you men take this in the wrong way, it has just been a tough couple of days for a man who only wants to have the Ch*ldren of CR have it better, if even for only for a moment in time.

Health & happiness to all..

Steve - Santas Bro

jesus bro, i was only offering a possible reason others had not stepped up for the K*ds thus far.
i thought i made it clear that in no way was i trying to impune your integrity. far from that i was making the comparisons to point out the difference.
those of us that are interested like you in making this a success are only wanting the best for your endeavor.
man, do i feel bad now. sorry, really. sorry

I don't think Santa's Bro took this too personally - I know he got an ass whopping from Johanna, so maybe he was feeling a bit frustrated and discouraged.

Myself, I understand your point/approach.

One just wants to be comfortable that his money is going where the effort says it will, and on this forum where most relationships are electronic, I can see how some/many might be skeptical.

I agree everyone needs to be comfortable in any situation of charitible contribution.

Personally if you knew Santas Bro, the above (you can see how some/many might be skeptical) would never enter into your mind.

Myself, I have absolutely NO doubts about Steve's integrity as well as the other members of the board of directors he has appointed.

On a side note: I have to agree with GR on questioning why Johanna reacted in this way... :? :? :?
