I agree with never telling them about your mongering activities. Tell them that you love their country, the people, the culture, etc., and you're planning to retire there. Tell them you enjoy Ticas because of the

I was in a similar situation. I met a 32 yo decent girl with no Babi*s in El Pueblo one night and we started going out. ( Of course I say decent girl with wide open eyes,, how can we ever know for sure they are not ex hookers or even occasional hookers) On the first night we met we left the club and talked a lot and I felt we connected. Everybody in CR male female old and young seems to know exactly what the HDR is and she put it point blank that if I went in the HDR not to call her. I played stupid. I really enjoyed her company for the next week and we never got to the sex part but were getting real close to doing the nasty She worked days and I called every night and we talked as she had fair english. Wednesday night I called and she let me have it with both barrells as somehow and I still dont know how she found out I was in the HDR that day. I couldnt deny it as I had spent several hours there earlier and left with a babe. After a emotional chewing out her last words to me were to never call her again and I havent. I just hate it because I really enjoyed her company and its so nice to be with a girl thats not a one hour girl So, my opinion is that if you want a decent babe you need to be very careful in your mongering activities and NEVER let them know you visit the HDR. Oh yes, you have been victimized by the ole "chica" network.....even though they say the don't go there, yet they know most everyone there or are friends with many who do.....you can't escape it!! They are very very quick to point you out and will not even think about it.

#1 a good Latina is not going to push on a Gringo for this information so it should never even come up. If you want to go out with regular good Latinas why would you stay in the gulch?? That is plainly not a bright idea & a no brainer too me. You could stay at the Holiday as many business men stay there & no one should be to distrusting of you there. CR is a male dominated society so don’t buckle at the knees guys & spill your guts to Latinas it just shows you to be weak & you will fall out of favor! If you are looking for a mom to confide in stay in the USA where women love to control you & if you want to control your own destiny go to a male dominated society & be strong but very good & loving to a women & reap the rewards. Junkyard, Cool story & thanks for sharing. I know many ticas that do not know much of anything about HDR. The reason why is they never have had friends in this line of work & never go to San Jose much. Poor Ticas know more about this because it has come up as a why to make money at some point whether they have every done it or not. The Tica you met was obviously some how connected to the gulch seen too me. The best Ticas too know for real dating purposes in my book are the ones that are not desparate for money have some college & do not know about the business in the gulch. If you see ones like this which there are many you will reach a new level of entertainment are my findings!

Well Zebra...I guess the Brotherhood has spoken with one voice...I still say you did the the right thing...or at least didn't do the wrong thing...I think for some of us banging a girl who doesn't have a clue what our deal is just isn't worth it...I live in CR and have dated a couple of Ticas who knew I sometimes went to MP's...I didn't make it a point to tell them, but confirmed it when teased me about it...work situation...office gossip...wasn't deal breaker but I felt I was kind of an experiment for them anyway.

If spending time with a Tica is something that you like doing you can experiment with varying degrees of self-disclosure and it won't always break the deal.

If you want to play the percentages in the way that will give you your best chance of closing the deal, then of course you're there to buy and develop a beach and are looking for a good woman to grow old with.

Regardless of the outcome......I'm satisfied with the way I handled it.
