Bros,

I want to bring a bottle of Makers Mark across the border. I have never seen Makers in CR. I assume it might be a challenge. Should I declare it outright? Should I forget about? Or should I hide it... knowing they (customs agents) will all enjoy it instead of me, if they feel like picking on me. Please advise.

Agreed. Pack it and forget it.

CR allows you to bring in 8 liters of alcohol. It does not have to be purchased at the CR duty free it can be purchased at a US duty free or any other place.

Just pack and forget about it as far as declaring it.
