99% of your time in the DR? You make that sound like a bad thing!!! I for one love talking and getting to know the chicas in the DR. The massage parlors don't do much for me... I stopped at ZB to pick up my VIP and walked out. Some guys love the massage parlors, for me the fun is in prowling the DR, TLN, looking for that beautiful Chica to spend some quality time with me.

Not to belabor the point. $1000 a week? I know a couple of girls at Key Largo that told me about $400 a week. When I mentioned $1500 a month in a prior thread on the subjuct, I was told that I was on drugs if I thought it was anywhere near that much. There is a difference. But they are different places. The DR is a bar, casino, and resturant including the famous Blue Marlin bar. All in one. The KL is a Dance Club with many bars, live band, buffet. The chicas move between the 2, some will go into one and not the other, just different though.

Actually I was referring to what the Bartenders make. Gringostar has the BM bartenders making $1000 a week. Girls at Key Largo have told me they make $400 a week. Is there a $600 week difference in being a bartender at the BM as opposed to Key Largo?

Was that 1000$ quoted with tips or without? The BM girls must make a killing off tips.

In salary the bartenders make about $10 per shift. In tips the bartenders in the BM make a little over $100 per shift unless they have a client or two tipping way over the norm.

I recall one x-mas eve when the two bartenders working the night shift made $600 apiece!

Bartenders generally work 4-5 shifts per week. Therefore they are making upwards of $500 per week which is still a great salary considering the average employee makes $300 per month.

I talked to Christina this weekend and she said her daughter has Hodgkins, specifically, and will continue to have treatments until March(I believe), which has forced her to cut down her BM work to 4 days a week to take care of her daughter. It sounded kinda gloomy for her daughter's outlook. Good news is that her and husband are still back together and moving into a house next month, and do not have to pay rent for some reason. More bad news is that with her not smoking for awhile, she is gaining wait like crazy--but, still one cute abuela.

as for the saleries, yes much more $ at BM than the others. Also, some girls have to work at Monkeybar, and they don't get much biz there, so their weekly salery would take a hit. Every shift, the bartenders share the total tips for their given department, so, let's say that Jessica and Yanori split the tips in the bar for the afternoon shift, and Christina and Viviana, and Irene split the tips from the coffee bar and so on. The $1000 was quoted to me by one of the girls that does not have to work at Monkeybar. (Christina does not work at Monkey either) The $1000 is tips and salery. By the way, at night, the tips are split beteen 7 girls in the bar because there are so many workers, but I'm told it all works out to be about the same. Even if she was exagerating by double, $500/week is HUGE in CR.
Also, I think Christina is more than $100. Someone once told me all the bartenders were available for $500. I have always wondered if that meant $500 for an hour, or $500 for the night. I did see her coming out of the DR elevator with her hair all messed up at 6:00 am once. That peaked my curiosity.
