Gary was a great guy. I always chatted with him on my visits. One time he told me a funny story about him being so drunk that he fell out the back door/window of the bar (you know the table with the breeze and awning facing back to the street near the old zoo entrance) to the street below. Said he his fall was slowed by an awning and he ended up on his back looking at the sky.. lol. Wasn't hurt. Had to walk in through the service entrance and come back up to the bar. I told him they should install a plaque to commemorate the event. Miss that man. RIP Gary.
