Is Liberia a good visit for mongers ? Thinking about flying over to check it out.

I think not. Lack of posts about it would suggest that.

You find a selection in Liberia online. I wouldn't be walking around Liberia after dark.


Tamarindo has a couple bars where you'll see girls loitering about.

If you speak Spanish you can easily find them but it is not going to be shooting fish in a barrel. I had no problems finding willing participants but I also am not afraid to get shot down either. When chatting with locals that are not your usual targets you need to take some time. With the bartenders or waitresses I would chat them up a bit give them some complements then just point blank say I am looking for some company and I was wondering if you knew any girls that might be interested in having some drinks and getting something to eat while I am here. that way you are not directly saying you are looking to get laid but they will know exactly what the deal is and you would be surprised and how many positive responses you will get either from them or they will call someone for you, usually a relative. It is all economics and the hired help does not get paid shit anywhere in Costa Rica and are basically indentured servants. Personally I would not try and get them for cheap and I would frame the payment as not for sex but by then I would have gotten to know a little bit about them and if they had K*ds or were just scraping by and offer to help with the light bill or phone, most have broken screens on their phones that you could pay 30-40,000 to get fixed for them. The girls if they are somewhat attracted to you will not see it as being a prostitute if you frame it that way but for God’s sake be discreet about it. If they are not interested I would just say I hope I did not offend you, and they will smile and say no or usually they would say they were married and would not be able to. The other way to get your foot in the door is with the local taxi drivers. They know girls everywhere that they can get you but you need to be more careful there as you are in their car and if you do not know where you are going bad things can happen, its best to have them bring the girl to a bar or restaurant and give them a 10,000 tip for the service. Be candid with the Taxi driver and let him know you are only willing to pay maybe 20-30,000 for the girl and his is between you and him that way he can tell you, you have to pay more, or what the girls expect. Remember they mentality about sex in Costa Rica is not like here in the US.
