That being said, my final political comment is with recent CNN and NBC polls showing less than 30% of America approves of and agrees with woke Dem hypocrites, and if mean old terrible bad evil Trump is as bad as the woke hypocrites say he is, what's that say about them since he essentially easily disemboweled them in the election?

When a political party is trending 30% approval and almost 2/3rds disapproval with angry outraged fed up America, it's time for introspection and change, not frenzied hysterical ludicrous accusations of the party and elected president that decimated them...

Explanation noted. And I have to admit you had me going also. Glad to see you didn’t go off the deep end as you and Boynton (though I disagree with him on many things) are some of the few remaining here that still offer informative and helpful insights.

I also have great respect and appreciation for our veterans. I have a close relative that was a POW in Vietnam. He left a normal person and came back a shell of his former self. He lived out the last years of his life in a locked psych ward in a VA hospital. Going to visit him and seeing the whole ward of completely broken guys was one of the saddest things I’ve experienced. Their lives were literally sacrificed for our country.

I admit that I have a long and deep dislike of Trump. Unfortunately I had a front row seat to the devastation and havoc he left in his wake in Atlantic City. He made out like a bandit while basically destroying the city. The collateral damage he caused to the people and businesses of that area was devastating. 30 some years later it still has not recovered.

And now he has the ability and power to do similar things on a global scale. I really hope that I’m wrong but I guess we’ll soon see. The majority voted him in so nothing more to do but watch, wait, and hope it’s not a case of be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it.

I actually thought for a second about giving a rebuttal to some of the points you made in your other post but really there’s no sense to doing that. These type of discussions are the political equivalent of the great cien debate. They seemingly go on forever, are extremely polarizing, and neither side will ever convince the other that they’re not right. Logic, statistics, reasoning, etc. never work in these types of debates. You can’t bring facts to a f*ck you fight. And that goes for both sides equally.
