Travelers, be advised: The U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica has issued a travel alert following recent car robbery incidents near Juan Santamaría International Airport.
Criminals have targeted vehicles along a busy route by the DHL warehouse, forcing drivers to stop and commit theft. Authorities recommend using alternate routes, such as the General Cañas Highway, and staying vigilant at all times.
