There are too many nefarious characters working at, associated with, or owning these types of places. You will most likely get grossly overcharged (read: gouged) and you will have no way to disprove the charges.

So I don't give them any business, which two night clubs in San Jose does the father own?

It doesn't say the father was involved. It is possible that he was a victim of his son's little posse.

If I remember correctly, there was a recent thread about someone with fraudulent charges on there credit card at a restaurant, or a nightclub. Wonder if it was the same people?

I try to only pay cash in CR. And if I have to use an ATM in CR, and even card readers here in the US(like in the gas station), I always check with my finger to see if a "reader" is inserted.

And I agree with Orange, a credit card in a 3rd world strip club? no way.....especially those clip joints. They are outright overt about their scams; drink padding, BS dance counts, chica drinks at $20 per, taxi driver commissions, etc. Elite & Tango India are notorious. I have had arguments just to get out of those places. You have to watch your bill more than watching the choices They are super super hot though. Real stunners.
