What? Chicken soup? Do you have a cold? You should go to bed right now. ( Well maybe after the HDR and KL).

After a few days of chaos, the airport seems to be back to normal...or perhaps even faster immigration than before!

Arriving and leaving the airport was easiest immagration I've ever done and I've been to Aruba and cancun before so all I can compare to really. My opinion of the airport inside was very smooth.

Some of best chicken soup I've had and we were eating lite so we could pound the beers which we did. I had the club another night and best club I've had in a while and I like the chicken over American club style. The chicken cordon blue looked great but once again had to leave room for cerveza

Just got back into SJO. I was one of 10 people at customs with the rest of the plane coming behind me.

2 minutes. No questions. Just stamped my passport 90 days and done.
'
And leaving Costa Rica last week was as easy.

I guess then it may or may not help you if you're closer to the front of the plane

For those leaving SJO you might want to give yourself an extra hour ( line is long )
took me an hour to get past security. The guy checking my passport took
A good 5 minutes checking my passport and boarding pass...

Good luck all - hope those still in line don't mess any flights or connections

Thanks for the info. I can't imagine them finding anything in my passport that would take a full five minutes unless they read at a first grade level. I already have to leave for the SFO airport at an obscenely early hour, but will plan accordingly.

I flew the redeye to FLL on Friday night, and was the only person passing through Immigration at that exact time (there were more people ahead and behind me, but there was no line at Immigration).

I arrived Wednesday, 11/25 at 230 PM and it took me 15 mins to get thru immigration. Customs was delayed due to a broken baggage delivery machine. I was at the airport at 930 AM on Sunday and there were only 4 people in the security line in front of me. I talked to a guy that arrived at 130 PM on Thursday, 11/26 and it took him 2.5 hours to clear immigration. There seems no consistency to immigration times.
