you cannot put a "positive" spin on pro-life and mongering in CR.....not possible. you cannot change folks views on this subject. a film would invite more attention. more attention is what has caused most of the problems we experience today...ie: deportations etc.

A movie about prostitution in C.R.? That's got to be one of the worst ideas I have ever heard of. Forget about all the excellent concerns the board members have already raised about negative publicity. What about the chicas themselves? Does anyone give a shit? Do you think this will be good for THEM? From whose perspective would this film be made? Will this film be made so gringas will know what we do here? It raises so many questions. Mongers don't need to see this movie. Religious nuts don't either. Wives and most women would be sickened by it. So tell me what's the point? Who are you appealing to? It would only bring plane loads of inexperienced mongers here & do lots of damage. Also, re: films on prostitution - "Pretty Woman" was the most unrealistic movie ever made. Julia Roberts sounded like a college professor rather than a 2 bit whore.
Every man in the theatre wished they could have married her. Now is that how you feel about most putas? "Risky Business" was a great movie & in my opinion a funny comedy rather than making any statement on prostitution. "Taxi Driver" was perhaps a much more accurate depiction of
of the sad world of prostitution.

Chicaflix13, I was curious as to your experience as a monger in C.R. Have you lived in the country? How often you have visited? Maybe you should set aside money if there are any profits to help the chicas whose lives may have been ruined.

Before you completly ditch this idea, have you ever considered a good suspense or mystrey novel that happens to be set in Costa Rica and happens to weave the sex situation there into the story? Costa Rica and ex-pats living there lives there is quite interesting. I think that a well written novel about them and Costa Rica could be a good thing. Remember, it's fiction BASED on actual events. Please don't discount it completly as I have now spent the better part of a year working on such an idea and would love you guys to buy the book. So what if it's made into a screenplay with Harrison Ford as the main character. Damm right, I'd sell the movie rights in a New York min. - just as long as it's enough for me to retire in Costa Rica!

They did a number on und***ge girls in c.r., and did I have to answer questions as my mother saw the program...this site is all the promotion that we need, thank you!!! The other thing, is the locale is growing more and more popular all the time, we dont need another 20,000 gringos finding out about c.r., or the price will be 100. per hour....the old economic equation supply=demand
