Is there readily available transport from the airport to Jaco ? And how long is the drive?

sure plenty of taxis will take you, looking at about 1-1.5 hr on the new road give or take.
Better get the price up front.
Not sure who pays for the tolls (you or taxi)? better ask that as well.

Better yet, get in contact with "Pura Vida Transport" here on the site and arrange for them to meet you at airport and take you down.
