The facility that makes the Invisalign is located in Costa Rica. I've had the opportunity to take quite a few dentists to presentations they make every so often at the Marriott. Even sat in on one of the presentations and it is fascinating the way they make/use the appliances. Having spent 6 years with the old metal kind, sure wish they would have had these when I was younger.
That said, with the factory here as well as the techs that do the computer work plus the difference in price for dentists, would seem Costa Rica would be the optimum place to have this kind of work done. No idea how often you'd need to return for new appliances but surely not as often as they tighten braces.
You have to go monthly so they can xray your teeth and know how to make the next month's trays.
After having it done, I'm thinking traditional braces would have a better opportunity to fine tune crooked teeth.
