I think we are all on the same page here. Latinas are superior as life partners than gringas. I do not think that was ever in question.

What skewed the equation and eventually led to the dissension in the discussion was the unfortunate reference to "DR Hooker" rather than a Latina.

A few points for you ....

To clarify what should be obvious and you can't seem to digest, MARRYING A DEL REY HOOKER IS A BAD CHOICE, I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT DO IT....I THINK IT IS A STUPID MOVE...I WOULD NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER, EVER DO IT!!!!!!

To clarify a few points here that seem to have you all worked up over nothing...

The key words here are "TYPICAL GRINGA" and "A DEL REY HOOKER I COULD PICK OUT" ... obviously, I don't believe either of these are good choices and I personally wouldn't marry either, but....

I used the words "Typical Gringa" because I think the typical gringa is an unattractive, pain in the ass, screwed up, fat, obnoxious, et., etc. etc.

I used the words "A DEL REY HOOKER I COULD PICK OUT" because over the past 3-4 years I have actually met a few chicas in the Del Rey that just didn't belong there, they were out of place and I saw them once or twice and never saw them again. They probably returned home. These girls were very sweet, fun & attractive and seemed to to be stooping to turning a trick because they needed the money that bad. I could never have seen these girls making it as hard core hookers in the long run or even in the very short term, and remember thinking to my myself if I had never met them in the Del Rey I would think they have have a alot too offer and would make a great girlfriend, thus my comparison and verbage of "A DEL REY HOOKER I COULD PICK OUT"

Once again,

Would I ever marry any girl I ever met in the Del Rey? HELL NO!

Would I ever marry a "TYPICAL GRINGA"? ...HELL NO!!!

But ...

given the two chocies I just described, I feel the few chicas i came across in the del rey that were hot, sweet, very amateur chicas that came to explore the del rey once or twice but never returned would be the better of two bad choices when compared to a nasty fat assed gringa. I believe the hot chica is the better choice here, not a good choice, but a better choice, if you don't agree with me I could give a shit.

The context of my post was never advocating marrying a del rey hooker, but instead giving my perspective on how unattractive I find gringas.

These are the only Ticas I go with & find your description dead on! I have said the same thing as you about this type. I also posted in another area about this that if you find one like this you have only solved 1/2 the problem if you are looking for a serious relationship. Yes you found a pretty good Latina but the bad news is she has severe finical problems which at best you will be the Johnny come lately in her family & her family will either see you as their new walking ATM machine or if you say no to making contributions to them they see you as a jerk. At least this is what I have seen as so many of these types of Latinas have Ch*ld like minds & no I repeat NO depth to their thinking.

One thing I see in this type of Latina is they generally treat you as boyfriend in bed as many have not slept around that much. It is a great fantasy for both parties I believe. Sometimes I have found you maybe their first Gringo experience which would make one think it might be a cheap thrill for them.

I understand your post as it shows how worthless the gringas have become to you & I have to say it is the same for me.

Your description is very fitting & just what I see:

I agree that a good man should not marry a working Latina or a typical gringa period but some of the type of Latina you have found sure look GOOD & make you think & wonder a little but no way too many other options to waste your time on these! Why even get something started if the foundation is not good. We would not buy a house if we knew the foundation was not solid!!!

In my book a typical gringa is on the same par as a regular working DR gal both dangeous to get serious with but truly good women exists in all cultures it is just much easier for me to find them in CR than here.

I hear ya man, I am currently ending a longtime relation, and I think that the bottom line is that I won't marry AT ALL again, regardless of the female's nationality. But Costa Rica has definitely emphasized to me in BIG ways the severely flawed nature of the "gringa way." I think that Pura vida is to live life to the fullest, and unless you feel a sense of complete and utter fulfillment with starting a family AND in monogamy(which I don't on either count at this stage in my life), there is no real need to marry in the first place.

To each his own, I guess.

Here is another one that just recently happened to me. I see a woman that has a car broken down on a back hwy in the US so dumb ass me being the kind sole I am stops to lend a hand. Well the problem they had was not easily fixed so they want me to give them a ride. Yes there were 2 of them in the car. Two typical 40 to 45 year old 200 plus pounders. Yikes!!

Well I have a small car & they both want in. I only had one seat for them & they thought one could sit on top of the other??? Give me a phucking break!!!! My poor little car??? Finally after they tried to make one of the world’s funniest videos they decide that they are too fat & I can only take one. One side of my face was laughing so hard I couldn't see straight & the other side was in terror for fear of that my car might recieve serious damage. The whole time I drove the first one back to one of her friend’s houses all I heard about was what joint was wearing out, how hungry she was & what medications she was on. Most entertaining!!

I will never ever stop again & if she only would have known what I was thinking she would have thrown up. That would have been cute!!??

Anyway it was just another nail in the gringas BIG COFFIN!!

Question is, does the amateur Tica just not have the DR disposition, or will the first sight of money turn her that way? Thinking about it, probably the greatest factor is her overall life (job? school?) and family situation, and how much that affects her choices.
