I know you post that you cannot validate this report but unless it comes from a source other than those cited, I'm not gonna believe it - and no, I had not heard about it - just when you think it could not get any worse - if - big if - true.

The thing to do is get our country energy independent and then we could ignore the Arab world - its oil that has us even interested in that part of the world - those people will never love us nor will they ever seek raproachment with us - you are not going to change 1400 years of history - at least the Russians during the cold war realized the menaing of "Mutually assured destruction" - these assholes don't care b/c as "martyrs" they get to Phuck 40 virgins each day - you are not going to reason with people of that mind set.

And if you say the vast majority of muslims are reasonable, peace loving people, I'd agree - say 90% of them are - still leaves 100 million <assuming 1 billion + muslims in the world> who may not be so benevelent.

So what to do.....since you are not going win their hearts and minds, you just have to make them fear you - like if our property - an embassy or a consulate is the property of the country in question - is breached, we will aniliate the attackers involved, for starters.

hmmm Maybe it is time to stay outta their world. Just maybe. Of course the US has carte blanche all over the world and comes and goes as it pleases.
