There is a great US-trained chiro in Paseo Colon directly behind the Toyota building.

Shahin Ravery (222-3152 / 376-3779 / 223-3030-emergency / ShahinRavery@yahoo.com) - I recently discovered Dr. Ravery when I dislocated my humerous & clavical (from a fall where I landed on my elbow). What I REALLY liked about is he spent WELL over 2 hours with me utilizing physio & physical therapy methods & machines as well as chiropractic moves (MANY chiropractors here I've found mainly do the cracking & don't have extensive electric stimulation machines or other gizmos). He did a GREAT job on me! He usually spends at least 45 minutes with his patients - not just the crack & by that many do. Note - He can get quite “friendly” with the girls sometimes. COST: First visit 15,000-c, thereafter 11,000. DIRECTIONS: SAN JOSE - Paseo Colon - 200 Norte del Costado - Este del Centro Colon. I also have if you’re coming from Escazu on the Pista - turn Left at McDonald’s (the corner by the stadium in Sabana Park). Go down 4 lights at the Nisson & Chevrolet dealers & Turn RIGHT. Go to the end of the street (just one block but do it from the RIGHT lane as all lanes turn left) & turn LEFT. At the 1st street turn RIGHT & he’s on the corner on the RIGHT (South/West corner) in the white building (look for the sign).

Hope that helps....

Pura Vida

+1.

I've been using him for years just to crack my upper back. Sometimes it tightens up and stays that way for a month unless I get it 'popped' real good. Yesterday he got about 10 pops from my back and neck. Always works.

VB first recommended him in 2006
