Guys... thanks for all the recommendations. Trying to pick out a new camera is like trying to pick out a chica from the DR! The choices are many! Canon seems to be popular, but I really like Konica-Minolta DiMAGE XG that Gamlingman recommends. It's about the size of a pack of smokes. Slim and trim. It reminds me of the last girl I took out of the DR around midnight on my last night. A little spinner Colombian who weighed all of 90lbs. She was pretty much all business, but that was ok. I knew what I was getting into. I was all business as well. I told her hell would have to freeze over before I paid her in advance (or something like that) and she agreed. I'll give her props for that. The plan was to grunge phuck her as payback for the very first Colombian girl I was with who gave poor service. It all worked out. She kept saying "no party... no party" as in no leche. I just kept telling her to look at me as I pinned her knees to her chest. Everytime she opened her mouth I pounded a little harder. Finally, I had my party she was so interested in. I guess you could say she "took a lickin' and kept on tickin'" like a Timex watch.


So.....Gamlingman...... is this DiMAGE that you recommend gonna be kind of like that little Colombian....... it will serve me well even with a small amount of abuse??? I'm thinking it will.

I have an older version of the dimeage X and never leave home without it. The only downside for me is because of no protruding lens I somehow get my finger infront of the lens but besides that it is great.

IMHO, Buy the digital elph 400 or above. They have steel bodies,video,custom settings etc.,and real lenses. They aquire files like my pro nikons, and look better,in fact.
