While this column is written about Mexican women I think it also makes many points that would also describe Ticas.

Ding Dong,

Thanks, what a good find & for me right on target. To me if a man wants a traditional type of life I think you are better to look south of our border. This guy nails all the things I have found in CR. The things I like about the good Latinas are no games & they like to be a woman.

For some more interesting insight, check out columns:

#245 Fred compares Mexicanas to Gringas
#204 and #150 Fred's thoughts on marriage & Gringas
#117 Fred compares Asian women to Gringas

Fred has been around the world and obviously around the block, wouldn't be surprised to see him in Thailand, DR, Rio or CR.

PacoLoco,

Thanks for the tips. Never seen a guy explain it this well. I was lucky in life I got out to these places early in life & found the exact same things as him. It is so obvious to me he knows the culture thru & thru. I watched as all my good friends succumb to Gringas & one by one they all failed! These we good men but like us all not perfect but they did not deserve how they were literally screwed over (what a system). Many went back & tried again only too suffer more of the same fate. I knew I would never sign a contract where the hand writing was so obviously on the wall.

Every marriage that I thought was the perfect one went up in flames. I just wanted one good marriage to work so I could hang onto some hope but no! Each one hurt me a little more because too me there wasn't even a glimmer of hope that marriage could really work in the US. Maybe I was just not lucky. So I never signed up & this left my finances intact to really find out what life could be like. Nice to see you have done your homework it pays!!!!!!!!!!

I went over to my married friend’s houses to BS & watched as the friends of mine would try to keep some form of reality with the television his wife was watching. He would say life isn't like what they were watching & the wives would reply oh yes dear I know but those distortions took there toll is my belief. They thought they were short changed if they didn't have all the good things that the Jones had! To me it is a waste of time trying to straighten out several generation of distortions here just better make your money here & get a real life else where.

I hope every young American reads those articles you put up on your post. It sure is 100% correct the way I see it.

Thanks for the info, emailing some friends with these articles. I owe you one.

Zippy :(

PS Another friend of mine is getting married to a Gringa soon. I showed him many things I had found but he doesn't want to venture out of the US. I hate to be negative, any wagers on this?? They should let us bet on marriages in the US instead of horse races, We might get rich on this. Wonder how the Vegas odds makers would handle this?
