It has been years since I have been there. I think before any of the problems started. Probably will check it out again sometime, but this is the type spot I would prefer to go alone, or at least without other gringos. Just my preference, but when I go to Tico spots I feel more comfortable there without other gringos with me. Let me repeat, just my preference. Others might like to do it differently.

Oh yeah...the Club Infinito was awesome. It had two or three separate dance/music areas. It was the best club in El Pueblo. It closed around 2002/2003 or so. I haven't been to El Pueblo since then (well, I did take a Colombiana there one night later that year). The music sucks there now. Also, there aren't many (any?) people over the age of 50 there anyway, so I think I'd feel slightly 'out of place'. I used to like eating at Lukas...an excellent restaurant there. Does anyone know if it is still there? Also, there was a restaurant on the second floor near there, called Rias Bajas. It was WAY over-priced. I took a Tica there one night, and the bill came to $100, with only two drinks. Of course, the lobster wasn't cheap.
