I know this has been discussed before but I am not very good at using the "search" function.

One of my girls dropped a hint that she would love to have a vibrator. I don't want to buy one at home and hide it in my golf bag until my next trip. Is there a place near the gulch where I could find a selection of vibrators for women?

at the sw corner of Ave. Central/Calle 9 (just down the hill from the dr, across from soda Chelles) there's a little 2-story mall. I'm pretty sure I saw an adult store upstairs there last week.

Lost,
expect to pay @ least twice as much as you would in the states. If you check luggage throw it in there no one will pay it any mind.

Just buy one here in the states, and make sure you pack it in your checked luggage. Make sure the batteries are out, you don't want it switching on! I've taken toys down there every time I visit and never had a problem but always made sure it was in checked luggage.

Thank you friends, for your helpful advice.

I never check bags, but I may throw one in my carry-on without batteries, and buy the batteries in San Jose. I don't think TSA will freak too much when they spot it.

The main reason I say that is I don't want some smartass TSA agent giving me any shit over it when going through security. I don't react well to tinpot dictators so I try to avoid giving them any reason to wind me up.
