I have noticed that a lot of the women I come in contact with is the US are alot more friendly and less uptight. It seems to have started to change after the lousy ecomonmy has really taken hold in my area and lately has really suprised me at times. I mean like I can chat up some young 20 something without getting that disgusting you old perv look all the while getting smiles and interest in what I say. I mean I just don't know what to make of it!

I'd have to say no...don't get me started on women's attitudes here in the USA.

Sometimes when I'm in the USA it get to thinking, "Hmmm maybe I jumped the gun" etc ................ but I'm not going to second guess my decision to move to CR 5 years ago. I left that behind. They, ya'll, who-ever can have it.

I can be having a lousy day, look bad I think, and some woman working in the service sector will be all friendly. Just dress well, get a hair cut, look like you have a job. I get random interest from visible women of all ages. The invisible ones know they're invisible. As for the younger ones, its more the minorities in low paying jobs. I mean good looking women.

American women are taught in our culture to gage a man by his P.E.P, or potential earning power. I believe this to be universal, except in cultures that set prearranged marriages. So many varibles, and a complex subject.
But I do beleive because of our economic situation, the job market being so competetive, American women are looking for finanicial security, at least for the short term. Or until the economic situation improves. Very complex subject matter, and attitudes varys from region to region in the U.S.

Generally speaking, most ticas know that you can get more from a man with sugar than you can with vinegar. Most American women think if they nag you endlessly and get in your ear, you will give in. So I expect to enjoy CR far moreso than America.

Based upon my experience, most women from central america and the carribean, especially the Dominican Republic are sharks when it comes to $$$. Too many stories to tell, several friends married Dominicans, lived here and it ended very bad. But the same can be said about
gringas.. but the Dominicans, appeared to be particularly vicious. The most sucessful marriages, relationships,,,, from my observations... Columbians, Braizilians, Argentinians generally S.Amer.
Just saying.......... but there are no absolutes in life.

Yep, no absolutes. I'm not planning on marrying anyone or shacking up so I'm not worried. If it starts to go sour, I'm walking away.
