for a great vacation where she will not need a Visa. Just going to Las Vegas for a few days requires more time and paperwork than a heart and lung transplant. Thanks in advance.

Mexico (Cancun or Acapulco) might be nice. Don't know about the visa situation.

You could also try the Dominican Republic. Nice beaches but she will have to get a visa from the local Dominican embassy or consulate.

Another place would be San Andres Island. It's off the coast of Nicaragua but is owned by Colombia. Some nice hotels (not 5 star but all-inclusive) and beaches. Good snorkeling. Don't know about the visa situation.

My understanding is that a Tica does not need a visa to travel to Mexico. Anyone have different info?

Witling..funny that you should mentioned "Cancun" because one of my favorite Brasileira (Brazil woman) asked me to take her on vacation to Cancun, Mexico when I take my next vacation. She must think I'm Donald Trump or something. I barely have enough money to spend on myself.

Anyway a few of the Ticas that I have talked to prefer to go to Cancun and Mexico city for shopping.

I know one Tica who got her Gringo novio (no, it wasn't me) to take
her to the Cayman Islands for a vacation.
