Last trip I saw a lot of people bringing in big screen TV s . They were the 32 inch vizio mostly. All of them were putting them in the closet in first class,a good idea is to bring a nice box of candy for airline stewardess,and I bet she will find a safe spot for your prize. I would be afraid to check a TV. I know what my new suitcase looks like after only a few trips and a tv would not stand the abuse they hand out in baggage. I bring a lot of stuff for friends every trip and never have had a problem , except the guy at the x ray machine took the Mayor of San Joses red beans,took 4 bags called them seeds,,wrote me a receipt and said have a great vacation. I had to show my face freeholeless at the Mayors casa. Not bringing any uncooked food this trip, but will be loaded to the top with gifts and requested stuff.
