The ban against alcohol sales is total and covers every type of sale.

As has been posted the police are very vigilant in enforcement and very few people will take the chance on selling illegally. Just make sure you stock up before Wednesday night.

Like you HerbF I am changing my plans. I found a fare for one week later that is only $320 from Northern Cal this late in the game. So they charge me 130 for the change but the new fare is cheaper by 80 bucks so it only costs me 50. Thanks to all on this site for enlightening us and Thirdworld in particular for letting me know that even if I get around the alcohol thing, Jaco is still going to be a nightmare. Will be interested to hear, just out of curiosity, if the Beatle ends up opening during this time and what's going on there if it is.
