Did anyone catch the Blind Pigs at Key Largo last Saturday night, or has anyone heard them before? I walked through the KL at about 2:00, and didn't see a band. Then, the next day in the DR, I saw their poster on the wall. It said they play classic rock n' roll. I was just wondering if I missed anything.

I'm sure if they were playing Key Largo, you didn't miss anything. Never good music there, unless Big Mike & Co. (AKA Gringo Stars) takes the stage.

Personally I enjoy their music. The first time I saw them play at Key Largo was about 4 years ago. More recently I saw them at Key Largo on March 6th.

I LOVE hanging out at KL but the live music is generally a very different thing. Most of the times it's pretty AWFUL and some of these guys get SO off key sometimes it's pathetic. But then again, when you're happy and drunk.....who cares.

I really like the new bar @ KL. I don't remember readin a mention of it here & was surprised when I walked in. Right after you walk in the main entrance a new bar, 1/2 inside, 1/2 outside is there, along with a courtyard area with tables under the stars. Sitting outside at the bar or tables will let you get a break from the crowds,smoke & loud music if you need a break. Also a good vantage point to watch all the chicas entering the joint.

On another note. When I first read the heading for this thread "Blind Pigs at Key Largo last Saturday night" I thought thay were talking about the girls not the band.
