I don't know, but I think I'm coming down on the side of CTY on this one. His old man is, indeed, capable of some pretty shady deads. I actually saw him take a few extra napkins at the News Cafe and was caught by the waiter who tried to take them away from him. If you're going to steal extra napkins, the mind boggles at what you are capable of doing. Good to hear from you. I do remember the napkin incident as it later came to be known. In fact, reliable sources have pointed out that this incident started the Presidente management down the path of regarding CRT brothers as "undesirable". In addition, there have been numerous complaints form CRT sponsors over The Elder bringing in his own booze and taking up space that could be used by paying customers. For all his purpoted faults he is still one of our own and his son is a douchebag. CYT is a walking add for birth control.

Yeah, the lineup at IDEM is outstanding. It appears he has a total of about 16, but some nights not all are there. Although I don't go there, my understanding is that Yorleny, Sofia, and maybe another one or two former IDEM chicas are at New Fantasy.

It's info like this that makes the SJ/ CRT scene seem really shady. From a newbies perspective, Wtf is really going on in the gulch??? Whats it really like?? Why is it the costa rica blush site is giving away info that is being sold here??? Seems that the ticos hate on the gringos because gringos want to profit from something that's not even theirs?? This site I thought was intended on providing info for ALL. Like most internet forums. Chill man. No one makes a member become a VIP it is totally voluntary. There is a ton of information here to non VIP's and as you point out there is Costa Rica Blush which is totally free.

I have to agree with ID, here. Many of the vets spend a large amount of time helping newbies, either online or on the ground. I normally try to never flame anyone but Circus The Younger is a special case . As to CRBlush, sometimes you get what you pay for. I missed the section on CRBlush where they negotiated discounts for their members that pay for the membership in about three days.

I have myself spent nearly a thousand hours between online and face time helping newbies. For me, it's part of the fun of being a member of CRT.

I personally invite you to PM me with any questions you may have. I promise a prompt, informative, friendly and polite reply.

Regarding Costa Rica Blush: I think the site is a good idea with real potential, but we must remember that CRB is in its infancy.

Regarding V.I.P. membership: Frankly, if you come to SJ without a V.I.P. membership, you're foolish. Between hotel discounts, strip club entries, meal discounts and the like, I have saved something like 6.2 times the lifetime V.I.P. membership fee over 7 trips. Also, remember that your membership, like advertising income helps pay for things like bandwidth and a very able, involved and dedicated administrator.

As BKTuna points out, there is a boatload of information available to you for free here, and as a registered member, you also have access to the private message system here; you can ask all the questions you like, and most guys will respond with good answers.

A friendly suggestion: I do mean this with respect. Let the chip drop off your shoulder. You'll have much more fun both online and when you get to C.R.

I thought about my comments and your right (EC). That chip is now gone. Didn't mean to bash on anyone but I do say what I feel. Honesty is my best policy. I will say this; When I stumbled across this site I was hooked! 3 to 4 hours a night scouring all the old post and new. I fell in love with CR and changed my spring break plans within a few days of discovering CRT. Instead of visiting panama I decided to visit CR. I hadn't even got there but knew this was the place for me. As I dug deeper in the forums my feelings changed, it's seems as if there is a lot of B.S. going on as far as politics, crime, theft and greedy sticky fingered Chicas/Ticos. I think its a natural progression for someone who discovers anything new to have high expectations only to discover the real thing isn't what they fathomed. It's kinda like when you meet a girl and shes a 8-9 but after you "get to know her" shes barely a 5. Honestly, I think the info alone on CRT is worth the 40 bucks and I hope my trip turns out to be a 10. I'm a student on a budget and seriously contemplated buying the card after my first conversation with one of the hotel sponsor managers. I only planned on being in SJ for my first night so it might not have worked out for me personally. if SJ is anything like I think its going to be, I might return throughout my time in CR. If this is the case Yes, I'm sure it would pay for itself. Like I said, the network and info on the site is worth it alone sadly though I'm on a tight budget and need to make my funds stretch. I'm going to take the time tonight and actually work out the numbers, then make the decision when I get into town. Thanks EC,BK, and ID for putting a newbie in his place.

Next about the crime, Many not all the people on this board drink, alot drug, many gamble and the board is about working women. So I said that to say many of the memebers are not hanging out with the doctors and nurses and engineers and such people who work and pay their bills and raise their K*ds and pay their taxes.

We bring money to the economy just as in Vegas foriengners bring in money. And like Vegas there are alot of people who work and worship there. I like the fact you took the time to share your thoughts here. You have my respect.

Thanks Redman, I talked to my dad about my trip today. He is a vet (served in Da Nang and Chu Li, as an assault boat driver, River/Harbor security, freight and transportation, support and river patrol) and He is also a seasoned traveler, wouldn't call him a monger maybe just a perro. He gave me some good advice. He was giving me the run down of his travels south throughout Mexico, Cuba, Belize and he basically said the same thing you mentioned "like Vegas there are alot of people who work and worship there". I live on the outskirts of the worst area in Los Angeles (skid row) so I have the confidence that I know how to carry myself in The "hood". But still this is my first trip alone out of the country and my concerns are based on the unknown. SJ sound likes it pretty ruff after dark as with any really bad neighborhood. Cant wait to stop in to the SL and the HLH for a cigar/beer and maybe that
"pamela expierence" everyone is talking about. Hopefully, I meet some CRT'ers that can point me in the right direction or even go on a mission with me. Thanks for your support. Ill be sure to report what I learned on my first trip.
