It's playing on a few screens at the Imax theatre complex - the one in the Imax digital theater is in English with spanish subtitles.

The majority of US releases in CR are in English with Spanish subtitles. If they have Spanish dubbed they usually offer both. For the discount lovers, both MultiPlaza Escazu and Mall San Pedro Theatres offer 1,000 colone specials all day on Wednesday´s.

Should be better next week when Christmas break is over and Ticos return to work. But still a good idea to call ahead.

Avatar is still playing. Have no info on how busy it is now that it has been running for almost 2 months.

Doblada means that the voices have been dubbed into Spanish. Subtitulada means the actors speak English and there are Spanish subtitles.
