Today is tHE BIG DAY. As Gringos living here in CR,we are more enamoured with the Colts vs tha Saints. The game will last for about 4 hours, however the election between Laura and all her opponents will possibly affect our lives for the next 4 years. There's nothing we can do or say that will affect the outcome,so all we can do is hope that our way of life doesn't change dramatically.

The results should be clear sometime tonight. Possibly very early if the vote is not close.

"Beginning at 8pm today, the Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (TSE) will start posting the results of voting on their website http://www.tse.go.cr, reporting the vote count from the 6617 voting centres who wil either call in or send the results by internet to the TSE central offices in San José."

Well I guess I went 0 for 2 yesterday. The Saints cost me a bumch of money, and who knows what the election of Laura Chinchilla will bring. I hope this lady who closed down the Casinos because she said they fostered prostitution, finds more important things to do than to go after the Casinos and legal prostitution.
