Caught Jim Getman/ Randy Hall's act on Thurs. PM at the SL and I'll say this--if you like any kind of American popular music of the last 50 years as a mood enhancer or whateeverthefuck, you need to catch their act at Dunn Inn this Friday. If you can't have a good time with these guys, then you have some deficiency all the intoxicants in the world (and I specifically include Chicas) can't cure. Maybe an intervention? I swear they're gonna be scraping the grease (and me) off the walls--they're that down-home funky. Y'all come, you here? You might even find yourself ditty-bopping with a Gringa--stranger things have happened.

+ 1 I had the chance to see / hear these guys last weekend a couple different nights at the SL, and they are a great duo with their music, and real nice guys as well. If you get a chance to check 'em out, you won't be disappointed.
