Didnt have a problem during my 2 trips to havana....the casa owner boiled and filtered the piped water ... stick to bottled water in restaurants though.

Even the bottled water isn't necessarily safe to drink. Refilling bottles with tap water happens all the time in Cuba. Make sure you're the one opening the bottle and check the seals before you do. Havana Club is safe though.

Sure it's no like Mexico. I have been there drink the water and has had no problem..
