Karina,who used to be very popular at the SL,is now working as a bartender at the DR. She is the thin chica who had large implants installed. She has been working the other side of the bar,daytime at the DR for some time. I've never been with her and I assume her rates will now be increased because of the obsession some here have with DR bartenders. Interestingly I also chatted yesterday with her sister Sophia who was back working at the DR after about 2 years.

She would arrive at the SL early around 10 am and sit at the bar. Had a portfolio of naked pics of herself. This was pre bolt on days.

HA Best not to talk of the infamous Karina that could have gotten a lot of folks in trouble.

Sophia is back? How many times is she going to quit/get fired and be welcomed back?

I think she is an amazing person, she was one of the first people I met when I moved to Costa Rica 3 years ago. She was a waitress at the Casino in Coco and I quickly became friends with the same people.

Will have to stop in and say hello when in town for my birthday!

Lost track of her after seeing her at a friend's funeral, a coworker of hers from the same casino who was killed by a drunk driver crossing the street after work.

Had her 4 or 5 times over 3 trips in the last 18 months. Too bad, great bbbj and an even better attitude. I hope it doesn't change now that she is on the other side of the bar.
The previous bartenders were great, but NEVER gave out. I wonder if she will change the trend?

CRGolfer...I think you confused my post. Karina is the sister who is now a bartender at the DR. Her sister Sophia never worker as a bartender there that I know of. Sophia worked as a dancer at D'Palufos for a while. You must be referring to another Sophia. (there certainly are a lot of them)

I looked for "Sophia" in Jaco last month when I was down. Ever since the marriage went south, her esposo has refused to go on any trips to Latin America, he has even lost interest in women altogether--I think. VB-if you get a chance to talk to Sophia, tell her she drove her esposo to turn gay.

I never really figured out her total game plan, until MG posted an article from yesterday's Inside Costa Rica:
