Actually it's not funny. It's a very outdated opinion. There is nothing wrong with Park Morazon now. It's well lit, basically next to the key Largo and Holiday Inn and Chubbs well patrolled and void of transvestites and a very nice well groomed park.

It's like saying Medellin is dangerous like it was in the days of Pablo Escobar

I have to agree with Livincr!! Actually, not only is there being trannys running rampant in Morazon Park a misconception, it has NEVER been as bad as some on here would like to make it out to be. I started coming here about 15 years ago; always stayed in the Morazon Hotel; and always had a rental car which I parked in the parking lot just north of the park. I have walked thru the park many, many times (and before the lights were installed) at 12, 1, 2 oclock and never had any problem.
Parque Espania is much worse in terms of trannys and ladrons and many of us walk thru it going and coming from the SL to the Rey area.

Do not take this the wrong way!! precaution should be taken anywhere in SJ (or in any city in the USA). Hell a young chica (university student from a prominant family) was resently shot and killed at 5:30 in the afternoon in an area of San Pedro that most would concider safe.

Pretty vague Cman and after 4 trips and 1 yr. on the forum it doesn't make much sense, you would know by now there is no other place like the HDR in SJ. Well you could go visit a place called the Sportsmans Lodge.

If PUCHOS doesn't work for you, IDEM is across the street and Relax is next door.
