Panama is great if you want to bang premium Colombian pu*sy.

The best place is "The Golden Times".

You wait in a room full of old school barber shop chairs while a parade of Colombians in lingerie comes through. Each chica has a number and once its finished you pick the one you like.

The price is a fixed $85 unless you come by taxi, then they screw you for $25 in taxi commision.

The chicas are top notch and not like those fatties at the HDR who ask for cien and then disappoint.

The last Colombian I bagged let me stick my finger in her asshole the entire time I did her perito style.

I definitely recommend it.

In Feb. 2005 it was $94 including taxi commission and $135 for take out to hotel. There were some fine babes in there. It's best to get there around 8 pm for best selection. Never been to a massage parlor with such high quality. Got there at 1 am one night and someone had ordered 12 chicas and they were leaving as I arrived. the name is GOLDEN TIME withou the s. Da*n I would love to return.

I see no problem being a perpetual tourist, have been for 10 years. I do see a problem staying over your 90 days now. Times are a changing. For many years I just paid for someone to take care of my passport. Luckily my person was honest with me the last time I tried and told me that he could get me the stamp, but could not get it in the computer. I remember when I first got here, every few years you would here that they were gonna do away and crack down on us. Have friends here for 15-20 without status. Just don't stay over the 90 days and you'll be ok. If you worry about having a ticket out of CR, very easy to doctor something from Travelocity or Expedia that will pass.

I've heard from others who have been coming down here for 25 years or more that they encountered more resistence from immigration than before. For instance, one official gave my friend grief by insisting that he needed to see a return ticket although it was an electronic purchase. (he had extra pages to his passport and the official told him it was ugly)

I can shed light on some questions in this thread:

the 72 hour out of country rule was acceptable as a student who was here in 95. The procedure for a student visa was cumbersome, lengthy, and required letting the university and immigration have your passport for an unspecified period of time. So the university suggested the out of country route.

There is a new immigration law pending. Costa Rican law takes awhile to take effect, it has to be published in the Gaceta, and takes effect 6 months later.

Administrative bodies interpret the law (much like our regulatory bodies propose regulations, which codifies our law), my understanding is that the is more leeway, hence the discrepencies. If one does not like the interpretation, then it can be appealed to Sala IV (Supreme Court) and they interpret as they see fit. And now the issue is settled? Nope...the agency might just ignore it and then the battle begins.

The new law is a good one, and hopefully it will be enforced evenhandedly.
