I had a local tell me about a club called Dorado somewhere in San jose that has nothing but High class ticas from all over the world. Has anyone heard of such a place ?

There is a bar, in the Gran Hotel called Dorado..very nice...

Might find high class chicas from all over the world at the Gran Hotel de Costa Rica but you are most likely not going to find any working girls there. They have a very strict policy and have a guard at every entrance to carefully screen people entering.

...and high class "Ticas" only come from Costa Rica, as well as low class Ticas. Tica is a term describing a female from Costa Rica. "Chicas" are typically Latinas from any Spanish speaking country but could be females from anywhere. Neither "Tica" nor "Chica" indicate "working girl", just females.

Semantics but they lead to clearer communications.
