Chow! (Mandarin)

hello

I have been keeping up with the stadium construction since the Chinese came up with the bilateral trade associations with Costa Rica. I have on many visits seen that there is a small Chinese population in the country. They are established in most areas as restaurant and store owners in CR from what I have seen.

600 hundred stadium workers got to get their groove on at some point during the project?

I have seen in the mining countries and countries where they have a large outside entity performing operations in an area that there usually is an increase in mixed nationality Ch*ldren and cohabitation between the various groups. has anyone seen an increase in chinese workers frequenting the MPs, gulch areas, DR, SL.

Have any of the members seen chinese / tica love connections in the recent months? Are the chinese workers prohibited from comingling with the chicas?

I have seen their compound which is very rudimentery at best. No place for couples. Are the workers assimilating into the general pop?

shi shi! (Mandarin)

thank You

Good questions. I was wondering the same things when I saw the stadium construction in June. I was there on a Sunday and the Chinese workers had the day off. Their "white with blue trim living quarters" looked like "mobile motel units." It appeared they were spending the day off, doing their laundry.....the entire length of the living units were covered with clothes hanging to dry. I was wondering if they are all single males living there, or if they had families with them, as well. It is interesting to see a fete of this magnitude, considering the logistics involved.....including the need for some "female companionship" for the workers.

It is always interesting to find a topic that is related to mongering that is not exclusive to prices paid for sex.

Isn't it?

In Guyana they have gold mining. There are special camps for the men who work the mines. Many of the foreigners and some locals.

Women from Dom Rep, Col, Ven, Hon, Nic, and Aruba are nearby to fulfill their needs, however Guyana has now exeperienced a spike in sexually transmitted diseases and Aids transmission in the country.

Not a good sign in any area.

Hopefully being that the Chinese seem to be more to themselves and more diciplined so to speak in the area of Pros. this phenom might not take place in CR during the project which is ahead of schedule!

"600 Chinese worker on stadium project!"

and one Tico.

For some reason  they didn't trust the Chinos to do the welding. There is one Tico on the project and he does the welding.

I haven't seen any Chineese in the gulch. They all live in housing near the stadium and don't have much money. I doubt that they even make it to Calle 6. I'm sure that they are getting some somewhere. After all, boys will be boys! I wouldn't be surprised if there were girls who visit the compound. If there is an opportunity, you know that some chicas will be all over it.
