Mall San Pedro is a plethera of Non Pros and semis, I myself am early 40's, but I used to live in the Rica, and I have been going for many years. As others have suggested pick up a small spanish book that fits in your back pocket, even from the bookstore at Mall san pedro and practice phrases at the different happy hours during the day. One of the best ways to learn spanish is to date a non english speaking hot Nica. Ticos will ignore them and talk smack but if you are with her, speaking and ordering in a little spanish the locals will give you a bit of respect, and the nica will reciprocate in other areas where not so much spanish is needed.

Absolutely correct. For some reason Nicas & asians are not favored by the Ticas. Another great location is Hiper Mas. I've been hit on there with my novia (at the time) 2 feet in front of me looking the other direction.

the cosmetic girls at the Mas por Menos are also very approachable, Ask them where a certain item is in the store, then ask them out for a drink, keep stalking to a minimum, but visit the store on a regular basis.

How often do you recommend stalking them, 2 times a day? They must all be available for a gringo, right? :?

Depends on their level of interest, smokes, beers, magazines, snacks, pasta. and oso limon are always needed items, I probably wouldn't later my routine too much if the cosmo girl didn't like me.

In today's economy any man with the financial where with all to travel or at least come across as someone who can provide financial security as an available suitor is attractive as hell to ant women any where. Nothing sexier to a women than a man whose got it together.....and a job or healthy bank account.

Perhaps the entire airport is a marketing ploy with an influx of the tourism dollars. It seems like just about most of the ladies who work there could fit in a catalog somewhere, whether it is Victoria's secret or Sears. either the airport Manager has really good taste in women, the prestige, or perhaps it is a defined business plan where these ticas buenas are one of the last things you see, and one of the first lingering memories designed to keep one returning to the country.

Continental always fly out of gate 7 or 8 so i haven't had to opportunity to meet these ladies from the gift shop on the other end of the airport. I'll be sure to swing by gates 2/3 next time down.

The girls are not employed by the airport but rather by the vendors like Cafe Britt, BK, etc. For those trying to sell items like available at Cafe Britt and the duty free shop they want pretty girls doing the selling so guys will linger and perhaps buy. I think some of the demonstrators at the duty free are actually employed by the beverage or perfume company to push their particular product. Retailers have used attractive sales people for as long as their has been retail sales.
