If you are in the states and happen to be in a store.....do not pick up and purchase an AT&T phone card. Normally I will purchase another brand and it will say 150, 300 or whatever amount of minutes.
To my error, I purchased an AT&T card at Walmart that read 300 minutes. When I attempted to call long distance in state...the recorded message came on that I only had 60 minutes to make this call. Penalty of 5 to 1 for in-state. Thant is a rip off. Never had this occur with other cards.
That is very deceiving and unlike several phone cards that one can purchased in stores.
Just a heads up. And no, I do not have a cell phone that provides universal coverage. I hate cell phone companies along with AT&T.
