I have read accounts of a healthy mongering climate for non Americans in Cuba. Now that the govt. has eased restrictions on travel there, a whole new scene could develop there depending upon the Cuban govt.'s position. Then again all money is good money.

The scene has existed for years. It developed almost immediately after the Russians cut them off. I was there 3 months after they cut them off but, the scene was just beginning. Things used to be better than they are now. I remember a day when the girl would hang out with you all day for a meal and a pair of shoes. Today it is all about the money like everywhere else. CubaDave is likely an expert. Hopefully he will have more to say.

Not likely, He doesn't post much unless your into pictures. He would have a world of info if he'd respond. ID will probably respond with some info.

Pegasus - If the “mongering climate” is healthy “for non Americans in Cuba” how is the mongering climate for Americans in Cuba?

Do you stay in hotels or in homes when you go there?
