What an unbelievable coup to get Juan Maria International Airport as the newest CRT sponsor. Of course I appreciate the 10% off we now get at the gift and duty free shops but the real benefit is realized on entry and exit from the country.

My wingman Olof Lapri and I really appreciated not having to wait in the visitor line in immigration, now just by showing our CRT card we were able to go to the Nacionale/Citizen window (we avoided a very long line). We had a little bit of trouble on exiting the country when the new cashier did not honor the card when Olof tried to get his exit tax waived. But by loudly insisting on speaking to a supervisor he got all the attention he deserved, after all a savings of $26 is very substantial and worth making sure the card is honored.

Keep up the good work!

I don’t know. This one might be better. I hear that he is working with immigration to get every VIP member residency status as soon as you join CRT.

Ok I bite, after looking at VIP discounts and doing a search I could not find a listing for the Airport as a sponser, I know I must have missed it, so where would I look to read the details? :D :D

I like to read the details as this is GREAT NEWS and something that for a while I like to take a copy with me.

Cute El S, you are right, it is the first of April, however Xman is obviously asking for links so that he can make copies. I think these are more responsive and helpful:

Good stuff!!

Maybe the best one ever for me is the 1985 Sports Illustrated one for Sid Finch, the supposed Mets pitcher that threw 168 mph

Here is the article for those to young to remember...http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/Hoaxipedia/Sidd_Finch/

I hope no one accually did this as immigration may just truck you back downstairs and ship you out. God forbid they ever see a CRT card, can you imagine the clerk pulling up the website and seeing our Tica of the week? Now that's priceless!!!!

Damm--where do I send the beer money???? since I got back from CR last week, I been off days on the calender, been signing stuff at work all day as 3/30/09( anda few legal ones), so what they saved a lot of intrest, not my money. Signed my self out of the office for 3/31/09 tommorrow, no wonder my boss was confused when I called him today . hell with it I still be gone,
I think the computer being done the day I got back for CR and could not make plane reservations to leave again that has me all messed up... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

If the tourist economy in CR worsens by this time next year it may actually happen. Stranger things...
