The places where most independants work (and gringos hang out) are The Del REY and Sportsman Lodge-both hotels with bars and resturants for income; a couple of bars such as the New York Bar and the Nashville south. In all of these establishments, the chicas draw customers to them and in actualality, these establishments might or might not (more likely "not") exist if it were not for the chicas.

Well, yes money from drinks plus a lot of guys stay at the HDR so room fees plus $10 / Chica' guest fees plus the restaurant. They also may get a cut on any tours booked through suppliers there. They ain't hurtin' and don't even need anything like "pimping" scrutiny.
Because of the fake cedula problem and experience issue mentioned above I limit myself to those obviously of age--but everyone to their own (legal) taste.
