BTW....Goetz....loved your post. But to honestly answer this question there is one more thing I do in addition to booking my next flight (actually....my next TWO trips are already booked and paid for because I found cheap air fare in lJanuary).

I get a really cheap phone card. I keep several novias on the hook and try to talk to one of them each day. It keeps me from jonesing....and is a great way to learn spanish. I had a huge fight with Super K today. She was talking so fast I swear her lips were on fire. But amazingly I understood almost everything she had say. She actually made a good point and I forgave her and we made up. She then then started talking to me about her POOOOOSY again.

Hey....it's what I do until I can return.

If you want a great cheap phone card you can buy online, try this one:

http://www.uniontelecard.com/

for $20 bucks I can talk for 6 hours to HER cellphone. It is about 10 hours to a regular phone.

We are like those creatures in that old movie Night of the Living Dead. We walk around with our arms outstretched murmuring to ourselves....murmur....murmur...murmur. What are we saying....listen closely......got to......get back.....to.....costa....rica.....pura ......vida.....need more......latina.....pu*sy.

(I always wondered why they did not just run away from those creatures. They never could run worth shit).

We are like the creatures in those old Dracula movies, after we have been bitten on the neck. Only we were bitten by a cute latina hottie....and now we are one of them. We are the ones with the far away look in those bloodshot eyes, and the chalky skin. We only come out at night....just in time for the Happy Hour at Blue Marlin. Ever see Vegas Bob out in the daytime? Huh!!! Didn't think so!

We have super human strength, unlike mere mortals. We have been known to screw 4-5 chicas in a day.....trying doing THAT in Omaha! We sleep in a coffin, with only the magic CD playing with candles lit at our feet and head. When we walk by a mirror with a hot tica....we are not visible, and the tica is naked. Yes, we have x-ray eyes. We see through clothing.

We are afraid if somebody shows us a cross....or if somebody utters the word CIEN. We shudder at the word, and slink away.

We can be killed in one of three ways. A wooden stake to the heart, a silver bullet....or a Biligrapho (ink pen) to the NECK (read Cristal story).

Otherwise we will never die. We will be like Flander....aging only slightly as times goes by. We will live for the moment when we can swoop down on our unsuspecting chica and say.....with that Bela Legosi accent: "I vant to suck your pu*sy." Then we will add...."Te pago cuando terminamos. " She will be powerless to resist....and we will pick her up and float up the stairs to the room. Soon...it will be over....and we will retun to join the others.

We are the Ch*ldren of the damned, the sons of Dracula.

AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That was great!

Come payday, I'm buying my next ticket. It will be like a talisman, keeping me focused on my true goal - Poosie Latina

I may have more bad news Furryman.
Although every trip gets better (which I never dreamed possible  ) the CR hangovers seem to get worse, I can't believe it's only been 2 weeks since we were there- it seems like 2 months ago. My 4 day trip was a blast but just not quite long enough, I came back still horny  Guess I spent too much time bullshitting with you guys...
And if things aren't bad enough wait 'til some fellow member calls you (Bulldog) bragging about his last trip, some local puta action he found back home, AND going back to CR next weekend for 10 days. :x this is torture.

at the conclusion of my last trip in September, I was sitting in the airport Bar about 1:30. It is the one on the main concourse with a bar on one side and the burger king on the other.I was having an Imperial Light for the road while awaiting my 2:30 flight back to Miami.

It was a bitter sweet moment but I was blissfully content reflecting on the previous four days of fun, fishing, and... Stressfree and with an easy smile I was completely relaxed and oh so satisfied. Talk about feeling good. Every now and then I would uncontrolably laugh out loud or utter a moan in reflective ecstacy.

All of a sudden, a noise like a cattle stampeed aroused me from my dreamstate. I looked up to see the inbound flights from atlanta (delta) and from miami (american) had arrived and were well into the deplaning process.

It kind of struck me that the guys arriving seemed to be in some kind of crazed rush to get through the airport process and into some pura vida. The ones up front were actually running. All had a desperate stressed expression on their faces. Their wallets were not the only thing bulging as they charged past. Many jetisoned their carry on luggage in an effort to cut for speed.

It was great to sit there and sip foam and drink beer in my relaxed contentment.

Well that was September and IT IS NOW NOVIEMBRE!!! I will be deplaning in SJO this Friday at 1:30 and you can be darn sure I will be the one charging down the concourse in a mad dash for imigration, customs, and a taxi.

If you happen to be arriving or know any friends or loved ones that may be in the area at that time please lead, follow, or get the heck out of the way! But when it is time to go it is time to GO!!!

Triple FFF I have had a similar experience though the cattle stamped sound was caused by the Fat American Gringas clomping down the concourse...

I hear you Goal,

Those Gringas usually stop along the way and graze at the burger king so you should be able to by pass them on your dash through customs.

Someone on the Admin Team at CRT should investigate getting a VIP Members lane or two at customs and immigration in SJO

TOURISTS, CITIZENS, CREW & CRT VIP's

Any body else think having our own lanes would be a good thing?

Let me give you guys the benefit of my experience. This is a progressive illness. It doesn't get any better. The final step is when you finally submit and just move here. By the way,I contrary to what Astro says,I do come out during the day.He just doesn't see me because he is usually holed up with his entourage in some sleezy motel because the hotel won't allow his entire Soccer team in at the same time.

Know the feeling well FM , for years I been going to Bangkok , could get in 2-3 trips a year , the " Bangkok Blues " is a ballbuster. Discovered CR in 2002 and used it for " the cure " on occasion, 3 day weekend. Well no trips to Bangers this year , but making #7 of the year to CR next week  and #8 over new years  Place is very addictive  , so I planning BKK for Feb as a cure :D

Bingster....there is no cure. But I know there are other places out there that are probably just as addictive. I think maybe I am glad I never found any of them. One addiction at a time is about all I can handle.

Vegas Bob...I am dating the Costa Rican Girls Soccer Team. I am hiring that announcer to yell GOALLLLLLLLLLLL! Every time I....you know what.

Next time I see you VB, don't be surprised if I whip out a mirror to check your reflection. You can't fool me. You ARE one of them.

It is a given, I mean, I always book my next trip as soon as I return to the states. But now, I'm on the verge of booking TWO trips into the future

Well I have my dates set, 3/3-3/11 and I'm buying my ticket next week, so I feel somewhat better :)

I went out and found some Ceviche last night at a local restaurant, not as good as Marascar but it was close enough to put a smile on my face.

My friends are starting to trip on how I always have either española de idioma or musica latina playing in my car now :)

Leaving in the morning at 9:20 for CR, I'll be up all night getting ready and packing, next trip already booked and paid for, spent all day today getting the necessary shopping done in the rain and crowds. I now have a larger collection of Latin music than any of my Hispanic friends and keep the car radio on Estereo Latino. The clerks at the Clinique and Lancome counters at Foleys all know me by name and I think I own the Victoria's Secret store here. They start getting my regular loot ready as soon as they see me walk in the door. The only cure is a one way ticket. Soon.

Goetz

Bought my ticket tonight, 3/3-3/11/05. Wish it could be sooner, but I wanted to hold out for when I could get a whole week in.

I do feel better with it 'in hand'.

The next one might be the one-way

Plus the computer game I have been beta testing for a while went live today (I know I'm a big K*D) something to distract me :)
